Addiction is more than an unhealthy priority, it’s captivity. It might feel like freedom in the moment, but our addictions control us to the point that we’re sacrificing our health and relationships. And God wants so much more for you.
There isn’t a magic solution to addiction: freedom is often a long, challenging road. But with help, first from God and then from people who love and support you, there’s a new life waiting. Whatever addiction you’re facing, we want to help. If you need a simple first step, surround yourself with a healthy, loving community of people who want God’s best for you. If you feel like we might be those people (and we do!), find out more about our support groups.
Families Facing Addiction
Chances are you know and love someone who faces addiction. We meet the first and third Saturdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. in Room 10 to talk about it, the struggles we face as family members or friends and how God can restore us and the people we love. All discussions are completely confidential.
Courage to Change
Addiction can come from places you least expect – and it can capture anyone. We open up about our personal struggle with addictions (we all have them) and provide an effective framework to work through them. It takes real courage to face our addictions, but God will meet us there. Meet us at The Block on Mondays at 7 p.m.
