You’re not alone. No matter what you’re going through,
God sees you and longs to go through it with you. We do too.
Our pain is often fraught with purpose. God salvages our grief, hurt and pain by bringing us closer to him and revealing more of his character in the process, uncomfortable as it may be. Check out our support groups below to find your next steps in your healing process. There is no cost to attend. Need to talk to someone right away? Call 330.655.8739 or email [email protected]. Please note that many groups take place at our Center for Care located in The Block (5374 Darrow Rd, Hudson).

Women’s Sexual Abuse Support Group
Thursdays, 6:30–8 p.m. Feb. 13–Mar. 19
If you are a victim of sexual abuse, you don’t have to process your trauma alone. This support group will provide a safe environment to discover the ways in which your history of rape or sexual abuse impacts your life today. You will join other women who have had similar experiences as you find hope and healing from your past, moving forward with your eyes on Jesus.
In order to provide the safest environment possible, this is a closed group and reserved for women 18 years or older. If you’d like to join this faith-based program, please set up a meeting with the group facilitator by contacting [email protected] These meetings are to ensure that you’re ready to participate in the healing process with others. They will take place on Jan. 23 + 30 from 5–8 p.m. at the Block (5374 Darrow Road).
The group will meet for 6-weeks in the downstairs classroom at The Block (5374 Darrow Road) beginning Feb.13.
Can I be gay and Christian? Is God anti-gay? These are difficult questions that don’t come with easy answers. Our hope is that this group will provide support and encouragement as we seek to live a life rooted in Christ, the one in whom our true identity is found. For more info, contact: [email protected].
