We include individuals with special needs as full participants in the life of the church, partnering with them to know, grow, and serve Jesus.

Our goal is to connect families both to Jesus and to one another while helping individuals with special needs find their place within the body of Christ here at CCC.

What to Expect

Here at CCC, we strive to include individuals in our general programming and services as much as possible while providing appropriate accommodations where needed, like an alternate low sensory room. Also, we’re serious about safety. All of our staff and volunteers require background checks, and staff are CPR-trained. Beyond helping during services and events, many from our team enjoys building relationships with these families for extra support.

Help Us Get to Know Your Child

Kids: No Limits

Open during the 10 and 11:30 services, No Limits is a low-sensory space designed entirely for kids with special needs. We’ve created an enjoyable space without being over-crowded and over-stimulating, with diffused lighting and softer music. We try to keep child-to-volunteer ratios as close to 1:1 as possible, so kids are free to play with general classroom activities and various sensory items appropriate for them. Even if only needed for a moment to get grounded and return to the general classroom, this environment is available.

If a child cannot participate in a general classroom at all, they’re welcome to spend the entire service in the No Limits room.

Teens & Adults: At His Table

Teens and adults with special needs join us throughout the school year during the 11:30 a.m. service. After worshiping with the church in the main service, we transition to a classroom for an adapted Bible study using a curriculum with appropriate concepts, simple language, hands-on activities, and a sensory-based design specifically created for people with special needs. At His Table now has 10+ years of serving teens and adults with special needs.

If you have a heart for serving those with special needs and their families, we are always looking for great helpers! During Sunday morning services, CCC will use the Buddy System to match you up with a child. Don’t be concerned with having experience because we’ll bring you up to speed with the provided training.
