Women’s Fall Bible Studies
September 17 | 9:30 am – 11:15 am
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Thursday, repeating until September 24, 2020
No matter what a person is going through, God’s Word is the ultimate guide to live with hope and purpose. Studying the Bible alongside other women helps bring clarity in applying God’s truths to our lives. This experience is enhanced when women come with diverse backgrounds and knowledge levels. A woman who has never studied God’s Word brings with her an excitement and curiosity that is contagious. One who has studied God’s Word her entire life brings rich knowledge and experience. Don’t miss the opportunity to grow and encourage other women in their growth, no matter your previous experience level. Childcare is available for kids birth–kindergarten age.
1 Samuel by Jen Wilkin
Large Group Teaching/Small Group Discussion or Large Group Format
The book of 1 Samuel introduces one of the most fascinating stories in all of Scripture, the reign of King David. In this study, you will be led to dig deep into God’s Word to discover how the story of a king who lived thousands of years ago is relevant to your life today. You will see that David’s kingship points us to our heavenly king, Jesus Christ, who is worthy of all our devotion.
Also available Sunday Nights at CCC.
Elijah by Melissa Spoelstra
This study examines the life of Elijah, an ordinary man who did extraordinary things for God. By studying the books of 1 & 2 Kings, you will have the opportunity to see how God equips those he calls, even amid the highs and lows of life. Learn how Elijah was able to persevere in his faith as he practiced prayer and surrender, and how you can, too.
