Walking with Jesus means continually looking at different parts of your life and seeking to follow Jesus more closely in each area.
This fall, find a class that meets you just where you are, and leads you to take your next step to reimagine all of life because of Jesus. There is something for everyone in the family at every stage of life. The second session starts on October 18. Space is limited. Check out all of the class offerings below. All elective classes will run from 6-7:30 p.m.
UPDATE FOR SUNDAY NIGHTS: CCC will not be hosting dinner before evening classes as we have done in the past.
Sharing Jesus with Others
The mission of the church is to make disciples. While that sounds simple in theory, putting it into practice isn’t always so clear cut. In Sharing Jesus with Others, Pastor Zach will give you practical tools to move your everyday conversations to Jesus conversations. The cost for the class is $5, space is limited.
Raise Your Racial Intelligence
From Ahmaud Arbery to George Floyd and others, our country is wrestling with issues of racism. As Christians, how do we engage in this issue? What should guide our thoughts and response? If you are asking these types of questions, this class is for you. This class will raise your RQ, your racial intelligence, from a biblically-rooted and Jesus-centered perspective. There is no cost, but space is limited, so sign up soon!
Navigating Your Finances God’s Way
As Christians, managing our money has just as much to do with our hearts as it does our heads. This nine-week small group study teaches individuals God’s perspective of managing money and possessions. It will provide the practical applications of handling finances, and really gets to the heart of the matter.
Women’s Bible Study – 1 Samuel
The book of 1 Samuel introduces one of the most fascinating stories in all of Scripture, the reign of King David. In this study, you will be led to dig deep into God’s Word to discover how the story of a king who lived thousands of years ago is relevant to your life today. You will see that David’s kingship points us to our heavenly king, Jesus Christ, who is worthy of all our devotion.
Sunday Nights for Kids
Sunday nights will be a time for kids to connect with God, each other, and their leaders. Each week, kids birth to 5th grade will enjoy engaging Bible stories, fun games, and age-appropriate activities. Childcare for children birth to age 3 is available only for parents attending a Sunday night class. Be sure to register because space is limited.
ADDITIONAL EVENING CLASSES
Classes that are often offered at different dates and times have also moved to be a part of our time together as a church on Sunday evenings.
