Which aspect of Christ Community Chapel’s culture resonates with you the most? (know, grow, serve)

Grow certainly resonates with me the most because it involves not only personal growth through the everyday challenges and trials we face, but it also involves growth through community with one another.

What is something no one would ever believe to be true about you?

I spent two summers in Alaska, and while there I got to serve at a camp run by missionaries, focused on reaching students located on islands all over southeast Alaska.

In what ways are you a leader? In what ways are you a follower?

I am a leader through being vulnerable with the ways in which I am weak, to remind those I am leading that the only way I lead is by the power of Christ. A big part of being a leader is learning first to be a follower. When there is someone in leadership over me, it is my prayer that God might humble me and let them speak hard truth into my life so I might grow more.

If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?

Playing the guitar. I would love to learn how to play the guitar so I can do personal times of worship more often and maybe even lead others as well.

What are you doing when you feel most like yourself?

When I feel most like myself I am most likely going on an adventure with my closest friends. Adventure is one of my favorite things to do, so if it’s something crazy I’m there.
